Hello Sydney … Pope Benedict passing through Circular Quay yesterday evening on his imported popemobile. Thousands lined the streets to get a glimpse of the pontiff.

IT WAS the sparkling Sydney day that won over the heart of Pope Benedict, the so-called Super Thursday when the pontiff crisscrossed the city by limousine, motor launch and popemobile.
His red "mozzetta" cape billowing like a sail in the wind, he shooed away his cardinals and bishops and, flanked by a United Nations of young people, he made his glorious maritime arrival at East Darling Harbour in the afternoon. read more
